When traveling for business or taking your family on vacation, there is enough stress without having to worry about who is going to take care of your beloved animal companion. This is especially true if your pet has a chronic or acute medical condition that requires a caregiver with veterinary knowledge and experience. Park Lane Veterinary Hospital's Norman pet boarding facility is temperature controlled and uses pheromones for both dogs and cats to promote a calm and confident feelings in our guests. Dogs are walked 2-3 times per day and optional extra playtime is also available. Dogs receive a complimentary bath with each boarding stay. Cats are boarded in a separate room to provide a quieter area and have no visual contact with dogs.
To keep your pet in the greatest state of comfort, we have orthopedic dog beds available. We also have Kuranda elevated cat beds in every cat kennel.
Your pet's special health needs, such as medicine administration, food preparation, and exercise, will all be reviewed with you. You are encouraged to bring your own food if your pet is on a special diet. For boarders who do not bring their own food, we use a prescription gastro-intestinal diet that is both palatable and gentle on the digestive tract. Toys and personal items are welcome to help make your pet as comfortable as possible.
For dogs: DHLPPV, Rabies and Bordetella
For cats: FVRCP, Rabies, and FeLV

Grooming is more than just a bit of pet pampering; it is an important step in keeping your pet happy and healthy. Regular baths and nail trims help remove harmful germs from the fur and paw that are picked up as your dog plays outside. It also provides an opportunity for the groomer to notice and treat dried or cracked paw pads and observe skin issues.
At Park Lane Veterinary Hospital, we offer basic and medicated baths, nail trims, and anal gland expression. From seeing so many happy dogs and cats walk out of our grooming area, we also know that a good bath and brush make your pet feel great and adds to his or her well-being.
